SCHOOL GRADUATIONINTERMEDIATE SCHOOL-LEAVING CERTIFICATE PREFERRED
As a gem cutter, you transform rough stones into valuable gemstones with the right cut, thus giving them their sparkling character.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
- You will be actively involved in our production right from the start
- You are learning how to cut, rough-shape, grind, and polish gemstones
- Use in both the cabochon department and facet cutting
- You actively support our apprenticeship fairs with your participation
YOUR SKILLS:
- Sense of aesthetics and forms
- Manual dexterity, a good eye for proportions, and a steady hand
- High diligence, quality awareness, and ability to concentrate
- Observation accuracy and spatial reasoning ability
FURTHER TRAINING to the master craftsman or gemologist
